Position Overview: As an Account Executive , you will be responsible for identifying and securing new client relationships within the logistics sector. Your expertise in freight brokerage, coupled with a hunter mentality, will play a crucial role in establishing BIR Logistics as a leader in the industry. This position offers a unique opportunity to be part of a fast-paced environment where your contributions directly impact our growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify potential clients through market research, networking, and outreach strategies. Develop a robust pipeline of new business opportunities.
  • Client Engagement: Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in potential client organizations. Conduct needs assessments to understand their logistics challenges.
  • Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective clients, showcasing our services and value proposition.
  • Negotiation & Closing: Negotiate pricing and contract terms with clients to secure profitable business agreements. Effectively close sales and onboard new clients.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth execution of services for new clients and address any issues that arise.
  • Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new opportunities and threats.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline progress using our CRM system. Provide regular updates to management on performance metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales or account management, preferably in the freight brokerage or logistics industry.
  • Strong understanding of freight transportation, pricing, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
